Your documents stay on your device

Files selected in a tool are read by your browser and processed locally. They are not uploaded to our servers for conversion, editing, compression, or download.

Generated files remain in temporary browser memory until you download them, clear the tool, refresh the page, or close the tab.

Passwords entered in the Protect PDF or Unlock PDF tools are used locally for that task. We do not receive or store those passwords.

Like most websites, hosting infrastructure may process basic connection information needed to deliver pages securely and reliably. Never submit files you do not have permission to use.
